Birthday Party!!!!

We had Jackson's second birthday party on Sunday, it was quite a success. He had lots of family and friends here to celebrate with him. Here he is having a pre-party snack at his new table set that his Gubbi got him. He loves it, he has eaten every meal at it since then. This is his new fake smile he gives us for photos. His Aunt Carli had the same exact smile when she was his age.

Handsome birthday boy all ready for his party. We decided on a sports theme since that is pretty much all he plays anymore; football, baseball, basketball, golf, hockey-it doesn't matter, he loves them all.

This is the AMAZING cake that Aunt Carli got for us from one of her clients. It tasted as incredible as it looked!

Jackson blew out the candle by himself, after stealing a lot of frosting from the basketball net :)

He really enjoyed everyone singing to him.

Then we opened presents, he did so well until the very last few. Then he had had it and he just wanted to play with all of his new toys!

He loved the new magnifying glass that he got (thanks Nikki and Lakota!). He walked around with it all evening looking at everyone through it.

Jackson through the magnifying glass :)

Then it was bed time so everyone started heading home. Jackson gave Colin a big hug good-bye. We are looking forward to his birthday party in a few weeks.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Jackson had such a special birthday and really enjoyed his party!

Happy 2nd Birthday!!!

Jackson turned 2 years old! My baby is not a baby anymore:(
We had a very fun day celebrating with Jackson. I got lucky and was on spring break this week, so I got to spend the whole day with him.

Jackson has been enjoying the basketball hoop that he received for his birthday. He yells "he shoots, he scores!!" everytime he makes a basket, then runs around to give everyone high fives.

I know this picture is not very clear, but we visited the Safari park in Port Clinton. You drive through and feed the animals through the window. We got to feed elk, deer, buffalo, and a few other animals that I could not identify. Jackson had a blast, he had no fear of the animals. He was sitting on my lap and kept trying to reach out and touch and feed all the animals himself. Mommy was a little freaked out, the animals are huge and try to get into your car as much as they can. After the Safari Park we got to have lunch with Keycoo who works in Port Clinton.

Then after a long birthday nap we headed to Chuck E. Cheese to have birthday dinner with Gubbi, Keycoo, Aunt Carli, and Uncle Joe. I was not sure how Jackson would do, I was worried that he may be overwhelmed. I did not need to worry, Jackson loved it!!

He did great riding all the rides, and played lots of the games.

We all had a wonderful day and are really looking forward to celebrating with friends and family this Sunday at his party.
(These are the pictures from my camera, I will post some of my proffesional pics when I get them-hint, hint Aunt Carli :)

Happy Easter!

Jackson's basket from the Easter Bunny.

Hunting for eggs at Mimi and Papu's house.

Uncle Joe helped him open his eggs. Jackson made out pretty well; 8 dollars and a whole bag of prizes!!

Then we had dinner at Grandma Smith's house, and we got to visit with "Baby Kota". She looked so cute in her Easter dress.

Today was also Grandma's birthday. Jackson really enjoyed the cake. I don't think Jackson really ate anything today other than hummus and dessert!

We had a wonderful day with lots of family.
Happy Easter to everyone.
