Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was so much fun this year with Jackson. He had a lot of fun opening his "surprises". Grandma Smith, Gubbi, Cico, Aunt Carli and Uncle Joe came over to join us for breakfast and gift opening.

Christmas evening we had dinner and MORE gift opening over at Aunt Ginger's house with the Smith family.
We were so blessed to be with so much family over the holidays-we love you so much.

Jackson received so many wonderful presents including, his new favorite toy-Barney! Our toy room now looks like a mini Toys R Us!!!
We have been so busy playing with all of the new toys that he received-thank you so much everyone!!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve over at Mimi and Papu's house, celebrating with the Pudlicki family. Jackson had so much fun playing with all of his cousins who were there. Jackson was so wound up by the end of the evening, we were worried we wouldn't be able to calm him down before Santa came! Thanks for all of the great presents, Jackson has been playing with everything.

Lights Before Christmas

Last night we took a trip to see the beautiful lights at the Toledo Zoo. Uncle Joe and Aunt Carli stuck it out with us even though there was a freezing drizzle. Jackson could hardy see the lights with all of his winter gear on. He had a lot of fun dancing with the dancing lights.
Uncle Joe probably has a sore back today because he was the only one Jackson wanted to carry him-thanks Uncle!!!

Children's Wonderland

Jackson took a trip this afternoon to Children's Wonderland with his cousin Liam. Liam is home with my Uncle Chris and Aunt Gina visiting for the holidays . The boys enjoyed looking at all the Christmas scenes and also sat on Santa's lap. (Well Jackson was not too thrilled about Santa, so he sat with his Gubbi next to Santa)
Merry Christmas!!!

Playing in the snow

We had our first real snow this past week (even though we didn't get a snow day!). Jackson and I got all bundled up and went out to play. He was so bundled, it was hard for him run around too much. We made his first snow ball and he learned how to make snow angels.

Santa

Jackson had his picture taken with Santa. He was a little skeptical of Santa this year, but we got a good picture with the help of a toy the photographer had.
Jackson loves to say ho, ho ho just like Santa

Getting Ready for Christmas

Jackson is getting in the Christmas spirit. He helped us decorate the tree, now we just have to convince him to stop rearranging the ornaments. We cannot wait for Christmas, Jackson is going to have so much fun this year!

Charlottesville for Thanksgiving

We traveled to Charlottesville to Grammy and Grandpa's house for Thanksgiving. Jackson had so much fun playing with his Uncle Matthew and Patrick, Aunt Esther, and Nicolette.
Jackson still talks about how Uncle Matthew taught him to "make a rock". We had a great time with everyone, can't wait until we can get together again.

Trip to Columbus

We took a trip down to Columbus to visit Madelyn and Adam and Alli. Jackson had so much fun playing with Madelyn and her toys. We were impressed by how gentle he was with her (not how he plays with his buddy Colin). We had a lot of fun hanging out with the Chase family, it was lot different than when we used to hang out at OU before kids!! The boys even stayed home so we could have a mommies night out-thanks Adam!!
Jackson and Madelyn gave eachother a goodbye kiss-so cute! I am sure we will pull it out to show them when they are older in their "cootie" stage. Thanks for having us down-we had a blast.

Yard Work

Jackson is becoming quite the little helper lately. He helped me rake all the leaves in the front yard & also "mowed the grass".

Fall Fun

Jackson had a lot of fun taking a trip to the pumpkin patch and then to the apple orchard. He probably ate 2 or 3 apples by himself! He also wanted to bring home the biggest pumpkin at the patch. Thanks Aunt Carli and Uncle Joe for the great photos!

Halloween

Halloween
I know this is a little late-but I want to post some of the things we did this fall. Jackson had a busy Halloween, and got a lot of use out of his Tigger costume. He loved to "bounce" like Tigger! Jackson went to a Halloween party and went to the zoo for Boo at the Zoo twice (once with Aunt Carli and one with Grammy and Mom and Dad). He also had fun passing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
